"The lack of a Christmas special perfectly demonstrates why hiring NPCs as writers is akin to blasting a missile in your foot. At best, they've got a few ideas that are boring and/or have to rely on preaching to the audience about social issues. Any semblance of creativity is a foreign concept to them, and it couldn't be more apparent than them literally saying "We ran out of ideas..." at the end of their first series, which has less episodes than a regular new Who series. My fucking sides."
