"The green eyed monster here tailed*, this is the same kind of faux outrage, like when Milo got his 250k book deal. This jealousy of the other is one of the worst traits that the left display. They don't care about the poor, they hate the successful & rich."

"He's the type of man that earns £7 an hour in a call centre, has no money left after paying his rent/bills, so he downloads a film he wouldn't otherwise be able to pay for anyway. What a prick. Lets all bully him."

"You cannot have 'conversations' about a problem, if people do not even perceive, or acknowledge, that there is a problem. From an unassailable position of complete religious and theological illiteracy, the majority of British people who listen to Douglas Murray (and similar, INFORMED, commentators) will still deny that 'truth' is being perceived and spoken, or written. Thus, ISLAM is going to take over these gorgeous British Isles, and, when those deemed, "not Muslim enough" have been killed or suppressed, the cathedrals will be blown up, or have minarets attached to them, and todays infants - their parents and grandparents having squandered their rightful inheritance - will have been killed, or will be paying the Jizya Humiliation Tax - in their own ancestral lands - just to ensure their second-class status as non-Muslim inhabitants."

"An entire race, culture, nation, and society goes away in a very short time. And, the only thing you hear is the people's fear of being called a racist."

Books of Interest #3: How Much Do You Know? A Book of Fascinating Questions and Answers On Every Subject edited by Harold Wheeler, Hon. D.Litt., F.R.Hist.S.

Don't know the vintage of this mini-encyclopaedia/collection of general knowledge. Though of it's time and since outdated or proven wrong on certain subjects there isn't really much to distinguish this book from the dozens of similar titles. That is until you reach the bottom of page 215...

Books of Interest #2: For Men With Yen by Alan Rodenberg & W. J. O'Neill

The cover artwork, inside flaps and a selection of my favourite illustrations from this aimed squarely it seems at men on business trips this 1960's guide to navigating Japan's labyrinthian, and it seems expensive and not so rewarding for the customer, hostess system.

Found in the much missed Hazel Grove branch of Oxfam (R.I.P.) around 10 years ago. I often wonder why interesting books like this never turn up in charity shops these days.

Books of Interest #1: Bang Out of Order by Simon Morris

Unattributed but almost definitely the work of Simon Morris of the brilliant Ceramic Hobs this 24 page booklet is a document of the early 1980's Power Electronics scene and contains both a hilarious and shocking account of the rise and fall of fictional power electronics band Hitler Rally as well as a potted history of all the scenes major players (and many not so major players) with the odd bit of actual power electronics ephemera thrown in for good measure.

Having not lived through this period and having only a very limited knowledge of the music, this booklet almost makes me wish I had and certainly makes me long for the pre-Paypal, pre-Myspace (remember them?), pre-blog, pre-Sound Cloud days of D-90s and the actual writing and posting of letters and cheques rather than all this "add to basket" bollocks.

Change Of Plan

We will soon be moving our sporadic Pavlov's Dog's Dinner music entries to a new blog dedicated to said project.

However we will keep posting our usual non-music tedium here, except of course the movie diaries which have been to Letterboxd.com.

No More Movie Diaries

August 2017 will be the last movie diary posted on this blog.

Have just discovered letterboxd.com where I can enter all this information in a more organised and easy cross reference enabled manner.
